Handmade Clay Goodness

A more detailed Pile of Craft update will come later, but I just had to share this breaking news as soon as I could sit down at a computer today. What's the breaking news, you ask? It's that you absolutely must check out the work of pottery artist Tasha McKelvey immediately! She was a vendor at the Pile of Craft fair today, and her work is just so amazing in every way possible. I'll let the visuals of her work do the talking, and will keep my narrative to a minimum, aside to say: hedgehogs and squirrels?!? Let's all squeal with delight together now. Definitely browse around her website and etsy shop to see every single piece of her fantastic work.
And itty-bitty mushroom plates?! So adorable -- unbelievably so.
The birds and nest bowls were prominent in her work, and rightfully so, as she does them so well.
Yes, you better believe that's a precious miniature squirrel perched on a lovely bowl.
And it's completely understandable if you'd rather wear her work, rather than simply display it in your home. Her delicate bird necklaces will do the trick, if that's your desire (it was mine, that's for sure).
One last moment to gush over her work, this time with an example of how it could look perched on your windowsill.
