Elephant Measuring Cups

Look at these clever (and useful!) little guys -- elephant measuring cups, from Pier 1 Imports!!  My measuring cups are sad and plastic (for some reason, the one cup has a slice in the base of it, so liquids seep out), so it's safe to say that these fun elephants are high on the kitchen wish list.  At the price of less than $15, these would be a fun housewarming gift for a lady who likes to bake, or a whimsical little present for any occasion, really.

  1. I'm totally getting these! I need to go there because they have a red candle that smells EXACTLY like Strawberry Kool-Aid...and mine are all burned down. So I need more...but I could totally get these..

  3. those are cute. i sadly have the plain ole plastic cups too and mine are so old that the writing that tells you what each cup is (ie 1/4, 1/3) has rubbed off. Might need to pick these babies up

  11. These are cute, I love them! My plastic cups are so blah compared to these fun guys.

Did you know that plastic measuring cups and glass measuring are different? Plastic are for dry goods (flour, sugar), and glass is for wet (oil, milk, water). I always follow that rule when I'm making something from a recipe, to get the exact measurement.
