There's just something so special about summertime recipes -- the plethora of fresh produce and party-perfect treats makes for a very happy kitchen. Lately, I've been thinking about figs (sidenote: are they even a summer thing?), particularly this fig and strawberry tart.

I think they are a summer thing. I had some fresh figs for the first time this summer with feta cheese. but strawberries sound like a tasty pairing.

ReplyDeleteI am a fig addict. I eat so many each time that my stomach hurts. My Aunt has a fig tree and it usually has a ton of fruit at the end of August and early September. Bring on the stomachache!
