Okay, although my love of owls has tapered a bit in the past year or so, I still feel a wave of delight and nostalgia when I happen upon the adorable creature in an unexpected place. This particular find was on the label of the Japan-brewed Hitachino Nest beer at the Carson Street Deli. What little things bring you joy when you spot them in random, unlikely places?

ReplyDeleteOwls aren't normally my thing, but since the fabric my husband and I picked out for the curtains and crib skirt in the nursery have birds on them, birds kind of inadvertantly became the theme for the room and a couple of owls have found their way into the mix. ;-)

That is so cute... I tend to buy wine based on what's on the label, lol. I'm sure wine snobs would think I was ridiculous but I can't help it!
