Be Mine, Darling: The Gentleman

Shopping for gifts is always a delight, but there's something wonderfully frivolous about Valentine's Day that makes it just a little more enjoyable than other present-worthy occasions.  As part of the Be Mine, Darling Valentine's Day series, I'm posting gift guides for the different sorts of special people in your life. Because I love a good bargain, all of the gifts are under $50 while still being guaranteed to impress.

First up, The Gentleman.  This is the type of man who makes old-fashioned phone calls to request a date, who gives you his coat on a cold and rainy night, and who starts his day with an espresso (perhaps accompanied by a croissant).  The Gentleman deserves a Valentine's Day gift that is as classy and handsome as he is.

He'll certainly appreciate a Bike Snob book ($7.99), given his preference for getting around town on two wheels and making a helmet look cool and the slightest bit badass.

This Monsieur Gazelle print ($10) is almost as dashing as he is.  Almost.

The Imogene and Willie Gas Station coffee blend ($15) will be consumed without cream and sugar, of course.

A dash of plaid in the fabric of this Goorin Brothers Moose Lodge hat ($45) will suit his vintage sensibilities.
