Be Mine, Darling: Tiny V-Day Display

The other night, I had a catch-up phone call with one of my good friends and randomly mentioned to her that "I'm working on my Valentine's display right now."  She laughed and responded, "oh, only you would be doing that!"  I adore her to pieces, but clearly she isn't hip to the blog world because you ladies are creating all sorts of lovely things in anticipation of February 14th.  It's so inspiring!

Anyway, here's the festive little corner of my apartment -- I kept a few items from my Christmas display around (including the awesome robot figure, who has become a quirky permanent fixture in my place) and added some new treats into the mix.  One of my favorite parts of the V-day display is the hot pink cat, which was a really exciting find from Rewind Vintage in Northeast Minneapolis.  My boyfriend couldn't understand why I wanted to buy the hot pink cat -- I just loved her for inexplicable reasons and couldn't leave the store without here. Now she is the perfect leading lady among the Valentine's decor!
