Oh, Make Me Over

Hooray, new look time!  For anyone who stops by the blog today, you'll notice a bit of a makeover happened last night.  I was getting tired of my wonky attempts at web design, so Kate from 17th Avenue Designs helped me out a ton!  I'm sort of smitten with the new look and layout, and am so grateful for her lovely aesthetics and speedy assistance.

I really appreciate the talents of people like Kate because anytime I try to tinker with web design stuff on my own, I just end up with a nasty headache and a few silent growls at my computer!  Lately, I've been wishing I took some web design classes back in college -- if only I had the foresight to know that I'd get into blogging down the line.  Does anyone know of any good resources to start self-teaching some web design sort of stuff?  I'm thinking that learning the basics could be a new wintertime digital-DIY project, of sorts.

  2. Your blog looks beautiful - Kate sure did a great job!

Thanks so much for visiting mine and your kind comments. I should let you know that my header graphic was also designed for me (by another Kate!) so I can't take credit myself! I can just about manage tinkering with layout on Blogger and found some posts on My Girl Thursday helpful too (link below just in case that's useful). I've grown very attached, however, to my little owls on branches :)
